Question 1:  What are your qualifications? Have you been professionally trained or certified?

 

Answer:

 I am Licensed and Registered Architect in U.S.A. and Europe. I have a Masters in architecture with the maximum score from the University of Venice, Italy. I worked as a researcher at the Universities of Rome and Venice on national projects regarding architectural and landmarks heritage. Besides belonging to the Chapter of Architects,

I was also a member of the Chapter of Journalists in Italy for my numerous writings on art and architecture in books, newspapers and magazines.

 

Once I moved to the U.S.A, I worked for several San Francisco and Manhattan architectural companies. I have extensive education and travel experiences in the field of Architecture and Art.

 

Question 2: What is your rate structure? What is covered in your services?

 

Answer: It really depends: every project is different. The best way is to describe your project in detail and ask for an estimate. The more accurate is the description, the more accurate is the estimate. If I am forced to guess, I will have to over-estimate. In my proposals, I provide a detailed list of my services.

 

Question 3: Is there a retainer fee?

 

Answer: One third deposit at the start of each service phase of the job.

Question 5: Do you plan small homes, large homes, commercial buildings?

 

Answer:  I specialize in new homes and commercial, religious buildings, art architecture, public buildings and institutions.

 

Question 6: How do you begin the Client/Owner relationship?

 

Answer:  I provide a questionnaire and a free initial consultation. The client can communicate visions, concerns desires and existing conditions. The subsequent meeting can be over the phone, for owner convenience, or at my office in Glen Cove.

 

Question 7: Do you have a customer satisfaction policy?

 

Answer:  I strive with every customer to get them the most value for the money and to charge only for specified work contracted.  I provide specific warrantees on my services, include providing design modification at no charge, as long as the initial work list remains the same.
